Celerity Successfully Retains 3 ISO Certifications for Standards in Quality, the Environment, and Information Security.

10th October 2023.

Enterprise IT solutions and managed services provider Celerity Limited, with headquarters based in Kirkham, Lancashire, has recently successfully retained three internationally recognised standards for: ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and ISO 27001 Information Security.

This independent assessment was conducted by the leading Certification Body the British Assessment Bureau and demonstrates Celerity’s commitment to customer service and quality in delivery, the protection and integrity of data, together with principles of sustainability and environmental awareness.

Celerity achieved its first ISO accreditation (ISO 9001) in 2010 and has since retained this certification each year, adding 14001 in 2013, and 27001 in 2014; highlighting its ongoing commitment to delivering services of the highest quality to customers and partners.

ISO: Who, What, Why and How?

Celerity Business Operations Director, Jane Evans commented, “I’m delighted that Celerity has been successful in maintaining our 3 ISO standards for yet another year. This demonstrates our commitment to quality, our environment, and our information security. A lot of hard work goes into maintaining these standards, but we see this as an essential part of our business and an area we look to continually improve as our business grows and develops.”

To ensure Celerity maintains its drive for continuous improvement, its quality and information systems and processes are regularly reviewed and subject to audit and testing.

Peter Burn, Compliance Manager at Celerity said "Our ISO certifications and the annual independent assessments are of significant value to our business.  They give us confidence that we are maintaining and improving our well established business management systems and the services we provide to existing and prospective customers, ensuring they are safe and reliable. This in turn gives us credibility with our customers, suppliers and business partners whilst also providing our customers with a quality guarantee. Sustainability has also become increasingly important and these standards help us to prove we are actually committed to deal with environmental and social challenges."
