Celerity Sponsors Joe Wheeler in the 2023 British GT

06 April 2023Celerity is thrilled to be continuing our sponsorship of exciting young racing driver Joe Wheeler for the upcoming 2023 British GT series!
The 31st British GT season starts this Easter weekend, with the first set of races on the 8th and 10th April at Oulton Park Circuit. This years British GT brings together nine manufacturers and 71 drivers, including 10 reigning or former world champions, across 7 race weekends over the course the year. The series is renowned for producing star race drivers, such as George Russell and Lando Norris who now compete in Formula One, and this season's 36 car entry is set to be the largest since 2019.
After beginning his promising racing career in Ginetta's junior championship ranks, Joe is now preparing for his fourth season with Ginetta, and his second in GT racing with Team Toro Verde. This year he is once again behind the wheel of a Ginetta G56 GT4 as he races to compete for the GT4 championship, with Esmee Hawkey joining as his paired driver. Joe commented "I am really excited for the forthcoming season and thrilled that Celerity continue to be a big part of it".
