What is your current role at Celerity?
Commercial Analyst
What were you doing before you joined Celerity?
Before I came to Celerity I was studying Chemistry at the University of Bath.
What do you think is your biggest strength?
I think my biggest strength is patience. I don’t get worked up when something isn’t going as planned, instead I just keep trying and chipping away until I can solve the problem.
What’s your favourite memory from your time with Celerity so far?
It’s got to be the company meeting. It was so good to meet everyone in person, learn more about the direction that Celerity is heading and get to know everyone in a more social setting.
What’s the most interesting project that you’ve worked on?
The most interesting project I’ve worked on so far has to be the implementation of our new financial management software platform. It has been a challenge and a big change for all teams involved, but it has a lot of potential to add real benefit to Celerity.
How would you describe the culture here at Celerity?
I think the culture at celerity is one of trust, openness, and passion for doing a good job. I believe that honesty and integrity is really important at celerity and that everyone is eager to perform to their best level.
How would you describe your team at Celerity?
The finance team is supportive, rigorous, and always puts in 100%. There is a productive hard-working atmosphere, and everyone understands their responsibilities but this is underpinned by friendly and genuinely caring relationships.
What is your idea of the perfect holiday?
My perfect holiday would be a food tour around Italy. I would love to go and experience many of their famous dishes city by city and enjoy the history and scenery as I tuck into a big bowl of Risotto or Pasta.
What’s your favourite time of year and why?
Christmas is definitely my favourite time of the year. It’s all about nostalgic traditions, food and drink and catching up with friends and family. What’s not to love about Christmas?!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have a superpower it would be teleportation. It would be so useful to be able to go anywhere in the world in only a matter of seconds. You could make so such more use of weekends and holidays if you cut out the travelling!
