Cyber Attack Hits Greater Manchester Authorities

A recent cyber attack on the software provider Locata has disrupted housing services across Manchester, Salford, and Bolton. The attack, which began last week, led to the spread of phishing emails targeting thousands of residents. Affected councils have temporarily taken their housing websites offline as they investigate the breach. Locata has apologised for the disruption and is working with IT experts to resolve the issue.
